Don’t Drink … Play!
If you like to have a drink occasionally, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic more like. You can experience a profit after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to catch a long toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash out of the casino is a little bit excessive, but preventative measures for drastic actions is a requirement. If you gamble to win, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the gratis alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed brain squanders all the cash!
Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink and then go on the internet to wager in your preferred internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my home, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Although I do not drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. When mixed, both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
