Iowa gambling halls
There are many casinos in the state, the biggest number being on moored scows. A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river based casino in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday chemin de fer tournaments.
Iowa casinos provide a great deal of tax money to the government of Iowa, which has allowed the budgeting of many commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has gotten bigger at a rapid rate accompanied with the requirement for services and a gain in jobs.
