Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a cocktail ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab only the cash you intend to spend on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. These activities just don’t go well together.
Leaving your money back at the hotel might be a little dramatic, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to throw away your cash nary a concern, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunken head squanders all the cash!
